"A Woman's Song"

 

She's a pleasing composition of music-like

qualities, always on the move, note by note,

and in harmony with her unique influences.

 

Her distinctive presence, like the flow of an

interesting musical score captures attention,

not by force, but by her rhythm, as it carries

the melody of her essence from here to there.

 

A deep pledge to self, day in and day out,

makes her glowing radiance possible, but

not always guaranteed, because her challenges

are frequent, and her time is not always her own.

 Yet, she drives on, navigating from point-to-point,

challenge-to-challenge, moving up or down,

over the humps and through hard times.

 

Yet, she drives on!

 

Many would say, "She's Back!, when it

becomes clear that her normal outward

manner has returned, after handling another

challenge. She really never left, though. It was

 just another verse in a familiar tune, or a new

 one that comes along every now and then. 

 

Her natural feminine energy and personality

blends well to fuel her Woman's Song, as Stevie

Wonder would say, "... in the Key of Life."
