"The Spirit of the New!"

Twenty-Nineteen has
kissed our shores goodbye,
and roared out to sea,
never to be experienced again.
In those final moments, many
hopes and dreams flowed away
with that tide, and will never
be viewed the same as
when they were born.
Now it's Twenty-Twenty,
the beginning of a
NEW day,
NEW year,
NEW decade,
NEW moment
in time,
waiting, but not long, for
NEW opportunities,
NEW ideas, and
NEW relationships,
created by the natural flow of
time, effort, and determination,
to make a difference
before TWENTY-TWENTY
also says goodbye.
And so, the time is now
to connect and birth a
NEW spirit, a
new SPIRIT, a
new COMMUNITY
"SPIRIT of SERVICE"
in our neighborhoods, our schools,
our homes and, yes, even our churches.
It's Twenty-Twenty everybody
and "The SPIRIT of the NEW"
has arrived!
